I stalked Ablues Maine Koonz for nearly three years before l finally made it to the front of the line and
brought my baby home.
After losing our Maine Coon Charlie, I wasn't willing to rush into anything. I needed a breeder whose ethics and standards I could actually stand behind, and I needed to trust the person I was working with. What drew me to Britney was
straightforward: she doesn't perform. She's direct, knowledgeable, and breeds with genuine intent...for the standard, for temperament, and for health. Her website is a robust, up-to-date resource, and her commitment to education and transparency is evident in everything she does.
That's my kind of person.
When I finally reached out, I worked with Britney and her daughter, Mallory, to adopt Everybody's Fool, now Gus (Angus when he's in trouble). The entire process was smooth, communicative, and genuinely enjoyable. Every question got a real answer immediately, with either a direct response or a pointed resource. Their integrity, attention to detail, and customer care are beyond words.
The placement itself couldn't have been more right. We have another Maine Coon, Jackson, who sustained neurological damage from a bad ear infection as a kitten and lives with a head tilt and a significant blind spot.
I was intentional about finding a breeder who bred for temperament, because Jackson needs a companion who will be gentle and accommodating, not one who will be too rough or cause him stress or overwhelm. I got exactly what I was looking for.
Gus is patient, gentle, and attentive to Jack in a way that feels almost intuitive...but still completely kitten.
Frisky, curious, fully himself. They are fast friends. He also seems to be under the impression that 1 am in constant need of a bath, and I have never felt more loved. The boy is generous with his kisses.
His integration into our home was the smoothest I have ever seen. He
was out meeting everyone within 48 hours of arriving, had the full run of the house within three days, and carried himself like he had always lived here. Confident, sure of himselt, and an all-around wonderful addition to our family.
Britney's red lines are stunning, and I was overjoyed to finally bring Gus home. Three years was absolutely worth the wait. I couldn't recommend Ablues Maine Coon Cattery more highly, and I'm grateful to have joined this family of Maine Coon guardians.
Raised in Our Home
Our kittens are raised in our home, surrounded by everyday sounds and lots of love. Part of our socialization includes:

Kitten Care & Veterinary Transparency
Every kitten leaves our home vet-checked, vaccinated and microchipped. We share all medical information with the new family, including vaccination records and health notes.
